17 Transmission Towers Planted in Hoeryong City of DPRK

| Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers under the Ministry of Electric Power Industry in the DPRK have planted 17 transmission towers in flood-hit Hoeryong City, North Hamgyong Province in ten days. After acquainting themselves in detail with the damage, they took immediate measures for supplying electric power to the flood-stricken areas in the northern part of the country and manufactured 10-odd transmission towers for a few days. As a result, the power supply to Hoeryong City was recommenced within three days. |
