Present at the meeting were members and alternate members of the C.C., UAWK and officials of the union in the capital and local areas.

The meeting discussed the issue of implementing the militant tasks set forth by supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., UAWK, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers called upon the members of the union to redouble their efforts in the sense of responsibility that they are standing on the first line trench of the first echelon in defending socialism.

They said that organizations of the UAWK should launch an intensive emulation at the model farms in the Songun era, grain production, stock-breeding, greenhouse vegetable, mushroom production and other fields so that signal successes may be achieved on the agricultural front.

They called for glorifying this significant year to see the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea with increased production of grain.
