S. Korean Paper Censures Regime's Suppression of 2nd All-out People's Action
Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Kyunghyang Daily News in an editorial on Dec. 6 said that the 2nd all-out people's action staged on Dec. 5 showed the ruling forces' foolish attempt to suppress the freedom of assembly and demonstration by abusing power.

The editorial noted:

The action clearly showed who are posing a threat to democracy.

The chief-executive and the ruling party should not crack down upon the freedom of assembly and demonstration but pay heed to the anger of the people at the unilateral administration of state affairs.

The people clearly voiced objection to the retrogressive revision of the labor law and the introduction of the "state-compiled" history textbook through the two all-out people's actions.

The regime should bear in mind that the people's resentment has already run so high that it can hardly calm down it through crackdown under the pretext of security.
