Minju Joson Accuses U.S. of Encouraging Japan in Its Bid to Emerge Military Giant
Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- Days ago, the U.S. administration decided to sell three "Global Hawks" to Japan.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday observes: This can hardly be considered as a common commercial deal.

The U.S. is seeking an ulterior purpose in this deal.

It is in quest of its own interests that it is encouraging Japan in its moves to turn itself into a military giant, while allowing with pleasure the arms build-up of the Japanese reactionaries. Washington is keenly interested in the revival of militarism in Japan.

It is the scenario of the U.S. to put Japan under its tight control and use it as a shock force for carrying out its policy of Asian aggression.

It is the calculation of the U.S. that plugging Japan into the implementation of its strategy for rebalancing in Asia-Pacific would help implement without difficulty its policy of Asian aggression and make a fortune.

The U.S. would be well advised to behave itself, bearing deep in mind its act of encouraging Japan in its revival of militarism would ultimately bring disastrous consequences to itself.
