The Korean people made sure that he lies in state at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and erected with due respect his statues and mosaics depicting his beaming image in different parts of the country.

They are holding him in high esteem as the eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and literary works in praise of his noble revolutionary career and exploits have been produced.

All these are a manifestation of the noble moral obligation and loyalty to Kim Jong Il who developed the Juche idea and Songun idea in depth into a guiding idea of the era of independence and successfully applied them into practice, turning the DPRK into an invincible political, ideological and military power, a satellite manufacturer and launcher and a nuclear weapons state and making distinguished contributions to the human cause of independence.

The Korean people have stepped up the dynamic advance to implement the behests of Kim Jong Il.
