The Fourth Conference of the WPK was a political event to be particularly recorded in the history of building the party of President Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il, the editorial says, adding:

It was a historic meeting which fully demonstrated the steady continuity being given to the revolutionary cause of Juche that was started on Mt. Paektu.

Kim Jong Un is the sun whom all the party members, service personnel and people of the DPRK acclaimed out of their heartfelt desire, and the banner of victory of Songun Korea.

The basic spirit of the WPK Conference is to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started by Kim Il Sung and led by Kim Jong Il, the cause of building a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un who represents the center of unity and leadership.

The WPK Conference is of great significance as it provided a sure political guarantee for more actively pushing forward the revolutionary cause of Juche, the cause of building a thriving nation by remarkably increasing the party's capability and leading role as required by the developing situation.

Adopted with a unanimous approval at the WPK Conference was a decision to hold Kim Jong Il as eternal general secretary of the WPK. The title of the WPK general secretary is a sacred title symbolizing the absolute authority of Kim Jong Il who led the party along the path of victories.

The WPK Conference also elected Kim Jong Un as first secretary of the WPK. This made it possible to carry forward the history and tradition of the single-minded unity as well as the revolutionary cause of Juche, the cause of building a thriving nation full of vitality.

The army and people of the DPRK will advance along the path of Juche revolution started on Mt. Paektu by holding Kim Jong Un at the top post of the WPK and the revolution, true to the pledge made before the bier of Kim Jong Il.
