Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- The Brazilian Communist Party and the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil on Dec. 20 proclaimed the mourning period on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The leaderships of the two parties set the days from Dec. 19 when an important report on his demise was announced to Dec. 29 as the mourning period and decided that the leaderships and other party members would pay condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Brasilia during the period.

They also decided to give wide publicity to the greatness of Kim Jong Il through party organs and Internet homepages and organize mourning events with sincerity.
