Peruvians Visit DPRK Embassy

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations and personages of different circles in Peru visited the DPRK embassy in Lima in the period from Dec. 20 to 22 to mourn the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They included the Communist Party (Red Motherland), People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students, New Left Movement, Revolutionary Socialist Party, Socialist Party, Communist Party, American Popular Revolutionary Alliance, the general bureau of Protocol, general bureau for affairs of overseas Peruvian citizens and consul-general, general bureau for Asian and Oceania affairs of the Foreign Ministry, Center of the Workers, People's Women Union, Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the 100th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, Group for the Study of Kimilsungism, General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institution, Association for the Study of Revolutionary Activities of Comrade Kim Jong Suk, Kim Jong Suk Library, Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea and the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship and a district governor of Lima City, manager of the ABJ Ingenieros & CA S.A,C.

They laid wreaths before the portrait of Kim Jong Il at the embassy and expressed deep condolences over his demise.

Meanwhile, diplomatic envoys of Russia, Cuba, Egypt, Ecuador and Dominica to this country paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy.
