Laotians Visit DPRK Embassy

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Delegations of the National Assembly, Ministry of Defence, Organization Committee of the C.C., People's Revolutionary Party and National Organization for the Studies of Politics and Administration of Laos on Friday paid condolatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Vientiane over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They laid wreaths before his portrait and paid a silent tribute to him.

The president of the National Assembly who is member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) wrote in the mourner's book that the demise of Kim Jong Il is a great loss not only to the Korean people but to the world revolutionary people advocating the global peace, independence and prosperity.

The director of the General Political Department of the Laotian People's Army who is secretary of the C.C., LPRP and vice-minister of Defence wrote in the mourner's book:

I, on behalf of all the servicepersons of the Lao Ministry of Defence, express deep condolences over the demise of Comrade Kim Jong Il.

Meanwhile, Cuban and Cambodian ambassadors to this country laid wreaths before the portrait of Kim Jong Il and expressed deep condolences over his demise on Thursday.
