Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Nepal Worker-Peasant Party instructed the party organizations at all levels and all party members to hold events mourning the demise of leader Kim Jong Il and express profound condolences to the Korean people.

Its Central Committee issued a statement in this regard on Monday.

The members of the leadership of the C.C., the Nepal Worker-Peasant Party, and all the party members express profound condolences over his demise, the statement said, adding though he passed away, the exploits performed by him in the struggle against the U.S. imperialists and for socialist construction would last forever.

It expressed belief that the Workers' Party of Korea under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK, will carry forward to the last the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by President Kim Il Sung and advanced by Kim Jong Il.
