Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Hurricane hit Central American countries recently, causing damage.

The hurricane accompanied with torrential rain struck Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and other countries, leaving 32 dead as of Thursday.

Hurricane that hit Guatemala left roads buried by landslide, 8 bridges destroyed and raised the level of the rivers, causing thousands of inhabitants to make emergently evacuation.

More than 2 000 inhabitants were evacuated to safe places In El Salvador and over 1 000 houses were destroyed by hurricane that hit Nicaragua.

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit Bali Island of Indonesia on Thursday.

The quake left 63 wounded and houses and public buildings damaged.

The damage is expected to expand.
