Tehran, August 6 (KCNA) -- Recently the West is busy opening Persian satellite channels. In this regard the Iranian minister of Culture on August 2 said this is aimed at fostering the Western lifestyle in Iran, degrading young people and implanting its ideology into people's minds.

In order to prevent the younger generation from being infected with foreign lifestyle, it is necessary to intensify the positive cultural and art activities suited to the thinking and sentiment of Iran, he stressed.
