Beijing, July 31 (KCNA) -- The General Office of the C.C., the Communist Party of China (CPC) recently released rules concerning the selection of city-level senior officials.

The rules call for giving priority to a moral character in selecting cadres and taking into consideration their style of work, sense of discipline and degree of integrity.

They also lay emphasis on improving the selection and appointment system of city-level cadres.
