Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, on July 28 sent a message of greeting to Thomas Boni Yayi, president of Benin, on the 51st anniversary of its independence.

Expressing belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would develop in various fields, Kim in the message wished the friendly people of Benin progress and prosperity.
