Tehran, July 31 (KCNA) -- Speaker of the Iranian Majlis Ali Larijani at a ceremony on July 25 bitterly chided the plots of the U.S. and the West against Islam.

The U.S. and other Western countries are clinging to political stratagem to mislead the understanding of Islam but this is futile, he added.

The Muslims do not require any political allurement trick of the West but will protect their legitimate rights and independence under any circumstances, he declared.
