Japan Fans up Ambition to Grab Tok Islets

Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are set to open an exhibition at the shipbuilding museum in Tokyo that asserts Japan's claims to Tok Islets belonging to Korea, according to the south Korean paper Hangyore on July 29.

They displayed a model of Tok Islets, video asserting Japan's "dominium over the islets", map, pass to visit them and the like at the much-frequented place.

They declared that they would hold an exhibition on the theme of "Japan's sea-islets to be defended" for two months from August 1, openly insisting that the children and other people of Japan should be given understanding of its territorial lands and seas and it is needed to defend Japan's sea.

In the past there was an exhibition related to the issue of the islets in Shimane Prefecture of Japan under its own sponsorship. But this is the first time to open in Tokyo such exhibition as inciting the ambition to grab other country's territory, the paper said.

It was prompted by the sinister intention of the Japanese reactionaries to fan up a social atmosphere for grabbing the islets and thus seize the inviolable territory of the Korean nation and, furthermore, open the way for reinvasion of the Korean Peninsula.
