U.S. Regulators Alert over Valve Failure at Alabama Nuclear Plant

| Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- The fact that the Tennessee Valley Authority's Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Alabama of the U.S. had a cooling system failure last fall was disclosed recently, sparking outcry. The failure of a low pressure coolant injection valve at the plant was of "high safety significance," said the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. |
