US Criticizes Lack of Ability to Negotiate over "Northern Territories"

| Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- It was recently disclosed by the U.S. diplomatic cable of the WikiLeaks that the U.S. embassy in Japan referred to Japan's lack of ability to conduct negotiations with Russia over "Northern Territories". According to the disclosure, the embassy said that for Japan there is neither plan for the negotiations nor leader capable of exerting efforts for the negotiations to succeed it to the last, when referring to the above-said negotiations between Japan and Russia in April 2009 when Aso was prime minister. |
