Various species of flowers are growing in the garden with ponds, waterfalls, pavilions and sculptures of figures and animals.

The garden contains a fountain covering more than 7,000 square meters, an exhibition, international children's friendship hall and greenhouse.

Growing in the international children's friendship hall are many flowering plants sent from other countries.

Kim Kyong Dok, manager of the garden, told KCNA that President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il planted trees there together with schoolchildren on April 13, Juche 80 (1991).
