The camping brought together members of the Korean Children's Union who set an example in study and organizational life.

A meeting to receive campers was held at the Mangyongdae Children's Camp Friday.

Present there were officials concerned, teachers of the camp and campers.

At the meeting the reporter and speakers underlined the need for the campers to earnestly learn from the glorious childhood of the peerlessly great persons, train their body and mind, consolidate what they have learned at schools and thus prepare themselves as reliable pillars of Songun Korea.

Similar meetings took place at the Songdowon International Children's Camp, the Yonphungho and other children's camps across the country.

The campers spent the first pleasant day while playing colorful sports and amusement games and having cultural programs.
