Servicepersons, working people and school youth and children here visited the statue of the President on Mansu Hill and paid tribute to him.

Seen standing there was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Laid before the statue were floral baskets in the name of party, armed forces and power bodies, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Interior Forces, organs at various levels, industrial establishments, farms and schools here and bouquets and flowers.

The visitors paid tribute to the President, looking up to his statue.
