Cuba Calls for Unity at World Trade Union Congress

| Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The general secretary of the Workers' Central Union of Cuba (CTC), Salvador Valdes, called upon trade unionists worldwide to unite as the only way to achieve better working and living conditions, addressing the 16th World Trade Unions Congress in the Greek capital. "Without making any concessions to our principles, we must welcome anyone who, regardless of his tendency or affiliation, is willing to fight for the common goals of the working class," he said. The world consequences of neoliberalism cannot be faced separately but together, he added. |
