The Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association in its statement on April 2 said that the work is a great programme which clarifies the orientation and way of achieving reunification by the concerted efforts of the whole nation.

The patriotic idea and line on great national unity advanced by the President are being carried forward and developed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il, it added.

The historic June 15 joint declaration provided by Kim Jong Il is a declaration of the great unity of the whole nation which ushered in an epochal phase of realizing independent reunification and the great national unity.

The association expressed full support and solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle to consolidate national unity under the banner of "By our nation itself" and thus reunify the country at an early date, the statement said.

The Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia in its statement on April 4 said that Kim Il Sung in the programme clarified the most fair and realistic ways of putting an end to Korea's division and realizing its reunification at the earliest date.

Kim Jong Il formulated the 10-Point Programme as one element of the Three Charters for National Reunification and provided the June 15 Joint Declaration. He is dedicating his all to country's reunification true to the President's behests, the statement said.

We positively support the DPRK's sincere efforts to improve the north-south relations and achieve the peaceful reunification through national unity and cooperation.
