Ella Rule, vice-chairman and international secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, in his report, praised the immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung who devoted his all to the happiness of the people and realization of global independence all his life.

He said that the ideas and theories of Kim Il Sung serve as guidelines for the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) aspiring after socialism, adding that all the party members should deeply study them.

He said that the President had founded the Juche idea, applied it in the revolutionary practices. In particular he had firmly maintained independence in relations with parties of other countries and in the revolution and construction and attached importance to the role of the intellectuals, he added.

Speakers referred to the experience the Workers' Party of Korea gained in the struggle against modern revisionism and Right and "Left" opportunism, the need of building self-supporting national economy, the issue of relations between independence and proletarian internationalism and others.

The meeting decided to send a letter to General Secretary Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung.
