Demolition of Concrete Wall Demanded in Bangladesh
Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy released a statement on Dec. 14 in demand of the demolition of the concrete wall extending in the areas of the south side on the Korean Peninsula.

It diametrically runs counter to the trend of the times that the concrete wall built in south Korea 31 years ago is still standing, said the statement.

It is due to this wall that the Koreans of a homogenous nation is not allowed to visit each other as they please and mistrust and confrontation between the north and the south of Korea are festering, it added.

There is nowhere in the world such wall symbolic of confrontation between compatriots as the one in Korea.

The adoption of the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration deprived the concrete wall, a factor of division and confrontation, of any justification to exist any longer, the statement noted. It strongly demanded the south Korean authorities pull down it as early as possible.
