Kim in the message said that the Lao government and people have achieved great successes in the defence of the country and economic construction under the correct leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

The Korean people are sincerely rejoiced over them and wholeheartedly hope that the Lao people will register greater successes in their efforts to more significantly greet the 9th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and realize the industrialization and modernization of the country as early as possible, the message noted.

The message expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the Korean and Lao peoples formed on the road of anti-imperialism and socialism would steadily grow stronger in the future, too.
