CPV's Entry into Korean Front Observed in China
Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- A ceremony of opening a national painting and calligraphic work exhibition, releasing books "New story of the most beloved people" and "Photos of the most beloved people" and issuing Korean stamp "60th anniversary of the entry of the Chinese People's Volunteers into the Korean front" for commemorating the 60th anniversary of resisting America and aiding Korea took place in Beijing on Oct. 24 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the CPV's entry into the Korean front.

Present at the event were officials of the organizing committee of "The most beloved people who will be remembered forever" for the event commemorating the 60th anniversary of resisting America and aiding Korea, veteran fighters of the CPV, the widow of a CPV fallen fighter Mao Anying, and bereaved families of the fallen fighters and masses. Staff members of the DPRK embassy in Beijing were present there on invitation.

The speakers said that 60 years ago a great number of sons and daughters of China crossed the River Amnok in high spirit to safeguard the security of the young People's Republic of China and the DPRK and waged a hard-fought struggle against aggressors shoulder to shoulder with the army and people of the DPRK under the banner of resisting America and aiding Korea, safeguarding the home and defending the motherland, thus defeating the U.S. imperialists, bringing today's happiness and providing the valuable spirit of resisting America and aiding Korea.

They will continue to give full play to the spirit, true to the will of the forerunners and thus achieve sustained prosperity of the country and keep on glorifying the militant friendship with the Korean people, they noted.

The participants of the event looked round the paintings, calligraphic works, books and stamps reflecting the heroic fighting spirit and feats of the CPV, its warm feelings of friendship toward the army and people of the DPRK, etc.

The national painting and calligraphic work exhibition will be held in succession in Beijing, Dandong and other regions.
