They were Dilip Barua, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist) who doubles as minister of Industries, Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Bangladesh, Mujahidul Islam Selim, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Communist Party, Shahim Mahmed, international secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh
National Socialist Party, Ragib Ahsan Munna, secretary general of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, M. M. Alhassan, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Igwanagu Nicholas, chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of Kimjongilism, and Ahmed Blaza Lawan, chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Songun Politics.

They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the full-length paintings of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il before paying tribute to them.
