Performances Given
Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- A performance of working people's art squads across the country was given at the People's Palace of Culture Tuesday to celebrate the 65th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The performance started with chorus "Glory to Our Great Party". Put on the stage were dialogic poem "Three Commanders of Mt. Paektu and Party Flag", female vocal duet "World Knows No Such Man as the Leader", poem and story telling "We Can Not Live without Mother", singing in unison and story telling "If Our Mother Party Wishes", drum beating in unison and story telling "Straight Forward" and other colorful numbers.

They included numbers encouraging the people to dash ahead toward the eminence of a thriving nation, while translating their ideal into reality true to the plan and intention of the Party.

The performers extended the highest glory to the WPK on the October holiday and sang high praises of immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by founding and building the WPK, and General Secretary Kim Jong Il by guiding the whole party and army and all the people to only victory, holding aloft the banner of Songun.

The workers' art group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea gave a performance at the Central Hall of Workers on the same day.
