Kim Jong Suk's Feats Praised
Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on Sept. 22, the 61st death anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese heroine.

The statement said that the organizations remember with deep emotion Kim Jong Suk who established her fame as the crack shot in every battle and set a noble example of lifeguard for President Kim Il Sung during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

Kim Jong Suk was an indomitable revolutionary fighter, woman commander of the anti-Japanese war and pioneer of the Korean women's movement, it stressed, adding that she made great contributions to the work for building new democratic Korea and emancipating the women from the shackles of feudalism true to the intention of Kim Il Sung after the liberation of the country.

She also provided the bright future of Korea, the statement said.
