Kim in the message said that the Korean people wish the African people success in their efforts to realize the political and economic integration of the continent, consolidate its peace and stability and achieve its independent development and prosperity.

He expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and the AU and its member states would grow stronger.
