Art Exhibition Held
Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A fine art exhibition of members of hobby groups of schoolchildren's palaces, schoolchildren's halls and youth halls was held at the Pyongyang Students and Children's Palace from April 8 to 13.

Displayed in the exhibition hall were more than 400 fine art pieces of 15 kinds including Korean paintings, crayon drawings, oil paintings, calligraphic pieces, sculptures and embroideries presented by members of hobby groups who are bringing their hope and talents into full bloom at the extracurricular educational bases across the country.

The fine art pieces including embroideries "Kimilsungia" and "Lake Chon on Mt. Paektu" reflected the boundless yearning and reverence of the school youth and children for President Kim Il Sung, who is wishing the Juche Korea a bright future even today with the image of the sun.

Also among the exhibits were oil painting "The Road Taken by the General" and poster "Fatherly General Is the Best" showing the ardent feelings of the school youth and children following General Secretary Kim Jong Il in deep reverence, who is paving the bright future of the country.

There were also exhibits vividly reflecting the stirring reality of the country making leaping progress toward a great prosperous and powerful nation and mind of the schoolchildren growing to be the pillars of the future.
