S. Korean Puppet Accused of Begging for "Extended Nuclear Deterrent"
Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive was recently reported to have begged the U.S. president for providing "extended nuclear deterrent" to south Korea in a telephone conversation. The puppet minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade was closeted with the U.S. secretary of State over the "proposal for countering north Korea's nukes" the keynote of which is the "provision of extended nuclear deterrent".

Mandarins of the south Korean puppet Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade were reported to have held video meetings with officials concerned of the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of State against this backdrop at which they were given reassurances that the U.S. provision of the above-said deterrent and its "security commitment" remain unchanged.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The above-mentioned renewed solicitation made by the south Korean puppet group to its American master is an extremely grave development as it hints at a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula.

Its hectic diplomacy aimed at begging for the "provision of extended nuclear deterrent" is nothing but an intolerable treacherous criminal action of driving the tense situation on the peninsula to an unpredictable extreme phase as it discloses its black-hearted intention to unleash a nuclear war against the DPRK at any cost with the backing of foreign forces, utterly indifferent to the destiny of the nation.

The reality goes to prove that the south Korean conservative group's above-said diplomacy is designed to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK.

The DPRK will as ever bolster up the nuclear deterrent for self-defence to cope with the grave situation where the south Korean authorities are working with blood-shot eyes to ignite a nuclear war in collusion with outside forces.

The south Korean puppet group should own full responsibility for pursuing sycophancy towards the U.S. and stepping up the moves for escalating the confrontation with fellow countrymen, which resulted in driving the inter-Korean ties to the worst crisis and creating the gravest danger of the outbreak of a nuclear war on the peninsula anytime.

Minju Joson observes in a signed commentary: The "extended nuclear deterrent" which the south Korean conservative group implored the U.S. to provide precisely means nukes. This reveals the group's sinister intention to unleash a nuclear war against the DPRK by use of U.S.-made nukes.
