Remaining unchanged is the conviction of the army and people of the DPRK that the great Juche idea and the line and policies of the Workers' Party of Korea, its embodiments, and the Korean-style revolutionary mode chosen and maintained by them are the best.

All the servicepersons and people are dynamically advancing toward a bright morrow true to the Songun leadership of the WPK, single-mindedly united around it. This is a clear proof of the advantages and the tremendous vitality of Korean-style socialism and an expression of their unshakable will to share destiny with it to the last.

The army and people of the DPRK are dealing merciless blows at the imperialists, countering their reckless moves with the toughest measures. The Korean people are growing stronger in their faith and will to protect socialism to the last from the ever-more undisguised moves of the U.S. imperialists and settle accounts with them without fail, holding aloft the banner of Songun.

They are dashing ahead like the wind, intensifying the drive for effecting a new great revolutionary surge with a firm resolution and great enthusiasm to open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation by 2012, the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung. Exceptionally strong is their revolutionary determination to attain higher goals and advance faster for a rosy future of a rich and powerful country and build a thriving socialist nation on this land to be envied by the whole world.
