U.S. and S. Korean Scenario for Aggression on DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- The United States and south Korea held a huddle in Hawaii early in August last at which they discussed and agreed on the matter of jointly coping with contingency on the Korean Peninsula and the basic principle and the specific area of cooperation in this respect, according to foreign press reports.

Minju Joson Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The above-said confab was nothing but a huddle for a war of aggression on the DPRK as it was aimed at making the U.S. and south Korea's provocation of another Korean war an established fact and stifling the DPRK by force of arms.

They put the strategy for a large-scale attack on the DPRK, which had long been pushed forward, into an operation plan and rounded it off and finally confirmed it at the Hawaii meeting.

Such frantic action taken by the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers for a war of aggression on the DPRK is designed to seek a way out of the crisis caused by their failure to execute the policy for stifling the DPRK in stepping up their policy of aggression on it.

The U.S., much upset by its scheme to isolate and stifle the DPRK proving futile as the days go by, seeks to bind south Korea more tightly to its strategy to stifle the latter by force of arms and use Seoul as a shock force for igniting another war of aggression on the Korean Peninsula at any cost.

The security of the DPRK is exposed to a grave threat and the prospect of the situation on the peninsula remains unpredictable due to the U.S. invariable hostile policy towards the former.

The potential military threat to the DPRK and the unstable situation on the peninsula for which the U.S. and south Korean bellicose elements are to blame compel the DPRK to bolster up its war deterrent for self-defence.

The U.S. and south Korea will be held wholly responsible for all the ensuing consequences, warns the commentary.
