Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan Urged to Apologize for Its Past Crimes
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- The chairman of the Association of Bereaved Families of Victims of Forcible Mobilization under the Japanese Imperialist Occupation of Korea and at least 20 members of the Citizens Council with Grand Mothers of "the Volunteers Corps" in south Korea held a press conference in Kwangju on June 22 at which they denounced the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan for its oppression and exploitation of Koreans during the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule over Korea, according to CBS of south Korea.

They accused the above-said enterprise of forcing Koreans to do slave labor and committing crimes against humanity, not properly paying them wages.

They charged that this enterprise with a history of war crimes behind it is working hard to conceal the crimes committed by it at that time on the strength of the humiliating south Korea-Japan "agreement".

They demanded the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries make an immediate apology for its past crimes.

They declared they would thrust to the enterprise a letter of protest signed by at least 20,000 persons in demand of the settlement of the issue related to "comfort women" for the imperial Japanese army.
