Korean Women Vow to Take Revenge upon American Murderers
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- A revenge-vowing meeting of women's union members took place outside the Central House of Class Education on June 24 to denounce the murderous U.S. imperialists, the sworn enemy of the Korean people, on the occasion of "June 25, the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism."

Ro Song Sil, chairwoman of the C.C., the Democratic Women's Union of Korea, made a report at the meeting which was followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers pointed out that the Korean war, which broke out on June 25, 1950, was an aggression war provoked by the U.S. imperialists under the plan to stifle the DPRK in its cradle and an unprecedented war of massacre aimed at exterminating the Korean nation.

Saying that the U.S. imperialists ran wild but could not reduce the Korean people to submission, they recalled that many women of the DPRK turned out in the sacred war against the aggressors and mercilessly punished them, thus contributing to winning a brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

They noted that though more than half a century has passed since the U.S. imperialists signed the armistice agreement, the U.S. is getting evermore pronounced in the hostile policy towards the DPRK and the moves for igniting another war to stifle it.

They underlined the need to thoroughly establish the trait of attaching importance to the military affairs in the whole society, give full play to the beautiful trait of assisting the army and bring up and train their children to be heroes ready to become human bullets and bombs like Ri Su Bok and Kim Kwang Chol.
