International Children's Day Enjoyed
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- Children in the DPRK happily spent June 1, the International Children's Day.

Sports and amusement games and performances were held at the Kim Jong Suk Nursery, the Kang Pan Sok Nursery, the Changgwang Kindergarten and other nurseries and kindergartens in the capital city of Pyongyang.

Among the sports and amusement games were toy-picking, stone bridge-crossing, running with a ball in arms and leapfrogging.

Nurseries and kindergartens at industrial establishments and on co-op farms across the country were also seethed with children enjoying their holiday.

There were sports and amusement game involving more than 10,000 children in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province, and an art performance of kindergarteners in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province.

Happy and merry voices of singing children could be also heard at nurseries and kindergartens in Wonsan of Kangwon Province, Sariwon of North Hwanghae Province, Sinuiju of North Phyongan Province and Manpho of Jagang Province.
