Present there were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Yong Jin, minister of Education, former unconverted long-term prisoners, officials concerned, children and women here.

Present there on invitation were women of diplomatic missions of different countries here and other foreign women and children and foreign guests and overseas compatriots staying in the homeland.

Ro Song Sil, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea, made a congratulatory speech.

Then followed a competition between the team "Kosumdochi" (hedgehog) and "Noguri" (raccoon dog), each made up of Korean and foreign children. They had diverse sports and amusement games such as archery, snatching a ball, jumping over flower-decorated rope, picking toys and tug-of-war.

There was an art performance given by Korean and foreign children.
