Japanese Reactionaries Urged to Drop Their Ambition to Stage Comeback to Korea
Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- The army and people of the DPRK will never allow the reckless provocations of the Japanese reactionaries against the DPRK but deal merciless retaliatory blows at them should they dare infringe upon its sovereignty even a bit.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday warns this in a signed commentary.

It goes on:

Recently the Japanese authorities decided to apply unilateral sanctions against the DPRK, malignantly slandering its satellite launch. They are becoming increasingly vocal in calling for "a preemptive attack on the DPRK." This is a blatant challenge and provocation to the DPRK as it is nothing but a reckless behavior of those obsessed with hostility towards the DPRK and ambition for reinvasion of Korea.

Lurking behind the above-said decision of the Japanese reactionaries is a sinister intention to abuse the issue of the Korean Peninsula to fish in the troubled waters politically.

Their decision is also designed to lead the DPRK-Japan relations of confrontation to an extreme phase and secure a pretext for starting a new war on the peninsula.

Their talk about "attack on the enemy's base" is aimed at realizing the above-mentioned scenario. By "attack on the enemy's base" they mean striking the DPRK.

The moves of the Japanese reactionaries to embark upon the road of staging a comeback to Korea under the pretext of what they called "threat" have gone beyond the limit, posing an unprecedentedly undisguised and potential danger.

Their theory of "attack on the enemy's base" precisely means a theory of war of reinvasion against Korea. The Japanese militarists are keen to realize the above-said scenario through a reckless preemptive attack.

Japan is the sworn enemy of the Korean people. The army and people of the DPRK will surely force the Japanese reactionaries to pay dearly for their hideous crimes against the DPRK.

The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to drop at once their hostility towards the DPRK and give up the ambition for reinvasion.
