DPRK's Principled Stand on Denuclearization of Korean Peninsula Reiterated
Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors has neither face nor qualification to talk about the nuclear issue of someone.

A spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army said this when answering the question put by KCNA Monday as regards the recent misbehavior of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors over the issue of denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.

It is the unshakable stand already clarified by the DPRK that it will never show its nuclear weapons unless the U.S. rolls back its hostile policy towards the DPRK and the latter is completely free from the former's nuclear threat, he added.

Citing facts, he assailed the group for groundlessly finding fault with the above-said principled stand of the DPRK.

All these facts glaringly reveal the treacherous nature of the group blindly following its American master's hostile policy toward the DPRK and ruckus for nuclear threat although it is unaware of the essence and scope of the issue of denuclearizing the peninsula, he noted, and continued:

By nature, the nuclear issue surfaced on the Korean Peninsula and has been hyped because the puppets secretly introduced lots of nuclear shells to south Korea, pursuant to the U.S. nuclear policy of "neither denying nor admitting," and deployed or designated even striking means for their application.

He clarified the following principled stand of the KPA, accusing these traitors of dare saying this or that about the DPRK's just stand and assertion about the nuclear issue while covering up the crimes they have committed against the nation:

The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors should clearly understand that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is by no means an issue of "dismantling the north's nuclear weapons."

The DPRK will never "dismantle its nuclear weapons" unless nukes in south Korea are dismantled to remove the nuclear threat from the U.S.

The Lee group should not forget that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula should be realized through the verification in the whole peninsula under any circumstances.

If it is true that there are no nukes in south Korea and no nuclear threat is posed to the DPRK as claimed by the U.S. and the Lee group, there is no reason whatsoever for them not to positively respond to the call for the nuclear verification of the whole of south Korea.

The Lee group should know well that the only way of eliminating nukes under the present situation where the hostile relations persist is for those parties concerned that have nukes to opt for nuclear disarmament simultaneously.

No one knows when the hostile policy desperately pursued towards the DPRK in disregard of the desire for an end to the state of ceasefire will lead to a nuclear war. It is the height of shamelessness for one belligerent party to urge the other belligerent party to unilaterally dismantle its nuclear weapons under such situation.

The Lee group should stop acting a disgusting stooge serving its American master after meddling in the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula.

The nuclear weapons of the DPRK with the mission to save the nation and defend the country will discharge to the last their special mission and duty as a precious treasured sword common to the nation as long as the U.S. anti-DPRK nuclear war racket persists in south Korea and in its vicinity and the confrontation with the DPRK is escalated by the Lee group, pursuant to the above-said ruckus.
