Struggle to Force Dictatorial Regime to Step Down Called for
Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- The Action Headquarters of the Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration to Force the Lee Myung Bak Regime to Step Down in south Korea issued a statement on Jan. 28 calling for turning out in the struggle to force the group of traitors to step down.

The statement denounced the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak regime for obstructing the independent reunification of the Korean nation by persisting in the moves for escalating the confrontation with the DPRK. It accused the Lee Myung Bak regime of putting up the watchwords "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars," a version of the successive dictatorial regimes' theory calling for "unification through absorption."

The statement blasted Lee Myung Bak for working hard to railroad a series of his evil bills opposed to the nation, reunification and democracy and unhesitatingly killing even evacuees in Ryongsan.

It called on the youth and students to wage a dynamic struggle to make a clean sweep of the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak regime and other anti-reunification forces and get such evil laws as the "National Security Law" repealed as soon as possible.

The statement demanded the earliest possible resignation of the regime which drove evacuees in Ryongsan to death, the undemocratic regime shackling all the people to Lee's evil laws and the anti-reunification regime hell-bent on the moves for a war and confrontation with fellow countrymen, pursuant to the U.S. policy.
