Statement of Spokesman for KPA General Staff Supported

Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea released a joint statement on Jan. 17 in support of the statement issued by a spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army.

The statement expressed full support to the decisive stand of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to mercilessly frustrate the evermore undisguised provocative moves of the Lee Myung Bak fascist puppet clique.

It continued:

The moves of the Lee puppet clique rendering the situation on the Korean Peninsula extremely tense in violation of the joint declarations agreed upon by the north and the south have gone beyond the danger line.

Most just is the stand of the heroic KPA to defend the socialist country of Juche as firm as an iron wall.

We call on the adherents to the Juche idea and the progressive people around the world to positively support and encourage the Korean people in their struggle to foil the moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet clique against the DPRK.
