Kim Yong Il Meets CPC Delegation
Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Il, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, met and had a friendly talk with the delegation of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China led by its Head Wang Jiarui at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Thursday.

Present there were Kim Thae Jong, vice department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, and Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Liu Xiaoming.

Kim Yong Il said that the Chinese party and people achieved many successes and further raised the international prestige of the country last year under the leadership of General Secretary Hu Jintao.

He hoped the Chinese people would make a greater advance in their efforts to implement the tasks advanced by the 17th Congress of the CPC.

Wang noted that the successes gained by the DPRK in the economic construction last year were possible thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Il who wisely led the Korean people by providing ceaseless field guidance to different fields.

He stressed that the Korean people are filled with the zeal to bring about a new great revolutionary surge and open the gate to a great prosperous powerful nation in 2012, the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.
