Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- A friendly meeting with staff members of the Indian embassy here was held at the DPRK-India Friendship Pyongyang Leather Shoes Factory on Thursday on the occasion of the day of the Republic of India.
Present there on invitation were Zile Singh, Indian ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.
On hand were Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is vice-chairman of the DPRK-India Friendship Association, officials concerned and officials of the factory.
After being briefed on the history of the factory associated with the immortal leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, the participants looked round several production processes.
They appreciated a performance agitating increased production given by an itinerant art squad of the factory and deepened the feelings of friendship, talking about further developing the relations between the DPRK and India.
