Lee Myung Bak Group's Policy of Confrontation Flayed
Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group is driving the inter-Korean relations to a more extreme phase, while insisting on its "policy towards the north" and advocating the provocative theory which calls on the north to make a change first.

Rodong Sinmun Thursday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

Shortly ago, traitor Lee in a " New Year address" talked the nonsense that he would "wait for the north to change its attitude, abiding by the principle" and "the north should opt for cooperation, away from its old behavior."

What Lee uttered is no more than an unpardonable provocation intended to shift the responsibility for the bedeviled inter-Korean relations onto the DPRK and pursue his treacherous policy of confrontation, persistently denying the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

It is none other than traitor Lee who should make a policy switchover, away from his policy of confrontation between the north and the south and it is again the group of traitors who should discard their posture of confrontation with fellow countrymen, away from their anachronistic old attitude as early as possible, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The development of the inter-Korean relations is absolutely impossible without respect for the above-said declarations. This is the need and call of the times and all Koreans.

The above-said theory the Lee group touted while trumpeting about what it called "principle" and "consistency" is nothing but an open declaration of its scenario to ignite a war against the north, persistently denying any improvement of the inter-Korean relations.

If the Lee group is allowed to persist in its desperate and vicious moves to escalate the confrontation, opposed to the country's reunification, all Koreans will not be able to escape the disaster of a nuclear war.

The Lee group is bound to meet final destruction should it go mad with the moves to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK, going against the trend of the times without dropping its day-dream.
