Lee Myung Bak Urged to Change Stand for Confrontation
Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Traitor Lee Myung Bak of south Korea, at a talk-fest with heads of editorial departments of some media organizations held in the middle of November, asserted that "it is a strategy to wait for something," instead of making a switchover in his "policy towards the north," a policy of confrontation with fellow countrymen that is denounced by all Koreans. During his recent junket to the U.S., he went the lengths of crying that "he is waiting for the north to change its attitude."

Minju Joson Thursday observes in a signed commentary carried in this regard:

These are nothing but provocative reckless remarks intended to evade the blame for having bedeviled the inter-Korean relations and lay it at other's door and whip up an atmosphere of confrontation with the DPRK.

It is the stand and attitude of the DPRK towards the issues of inter-Korean relations and national reunification to usher in a new era of independent reunification and peace and prosperity by thoroughly implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, a programme for implementing it. Needless to say, this principled stand and attitude will remain unchanged in the future, too, as they reflect the will and desire of the nation.

The above-said outbursts of traitor Lee only betray his ulterior intention to keep bedeviling the inter-Korean relations by sticking to his "policy towards the north" till the tenure of his office comes to an end.

Whether the inter-Korean relations improve or fester in the days ahead depends on whether he makes a switchover in his "policy towards the north" or not.

All Koreans will never pardon Lee Myung Bak if he persistently pursues his treacherous and anti-reunification "policy towards the north," refusing to drop his attitude for confrontation with fellow countrymen.
