Delegation of National Youth Organization of Iran Feted
Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- The Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK gave a reception at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on November 6 in honor of the delegation of the National Youth Organization of Iran on a visit to the DPRK.

Present there on invitation were members of the delegation of the National Youth Organization of Iran led by its Head Mohammad Javad Haji Ali Akbari, vice-president of Iran, Morteza Moradian, Iranian ambassador to the DPRK, and embassy officials.

Present there were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Ri Yong Chol, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, and officials concerned.

Yang Hyong Sop in his speech referred to the fact that the Iranian government and people have achieved great successes in the struggle for the independent development and economic growth of the country despite the U.S. interference in their internal affairs and its moves to isolate and suffocate Iran.

He extended firm support and solidarity to the Iranian government and people in their efforts to protect the sovereignty and dignity of the country and gain the right to nuclear activities for a peaceful purpose.

The Korean people will make efforts to expand and develop the friendly and cooperative relations with the Iranian people forged in the struggle for independence against imperialism and the U.S., he added.

Mohammad Javad Haji Ali Akbari said in his speech that the friendly and cooperative relations between Iran and the DPRK provided by the leaders of the two countries are developing day by day in the political, economic, cultural and various other fields.

He noted that while staying in Korea he was pleased to see for himself the achievements made by the Korean people true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung and the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The Iranian people will always stand by the side of the fraternal Korean people struggling to protect the sovereignty of the country, he noted.
