Legal Action against Criminals Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations of south Korea including the Federation of Peasants Associations and the Federation of Women Peasants Associations called a joint press conference in Seoul on October 21 at which they demanded a legal action against high-ranking officials of the puppet government tainted with corruption and irregularities.

At the press conference speakers charged that at the "inspection of administration" the "Board of Audit" should clarify the reason why it did not open to the public the results of the inspection of those who received subsidies to rice cultivators although it conducted the probe.

They held that the above-said board should not only punish those responsible for the expropriation of subsidies to rice cultivators but look into "their violation of the law on farmland and suspected tax evasion", too, and thus mete out a deserved judgement to them by "law."

Then, a press release was read out at the press conference. It urged the present "government" to conduct the above-said inspection in full line with the demand of the people.
