Kim Yong Nam Meets Vietnam Delegation
Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a friendly talk with the delegation of the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security headed by its Minister Le Hong Anh, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Communist Party of Vietnam, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall today.

The head of the delegation asked Kim Yong Nam to convey the greetings of General Secretary Nong Duc Manh to General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Kim Yong Nam deeply thanked for this and requested him to convey the regards of Kim Jong Il to Nong Duc Manh.

The head of the delegation said that while staying in the DPRK the delegation witnessed the successes achieved by the Korean people in the socialist construction under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Il.

He expressed the belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung would grow stronger.

Present there were Sin Il Nam, vice-minister of People's Security of the DPRK, and Le Van Cu, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK.
